When: Saturday, March 30, 11 am - 1 pm
Do you have a son, daughter, or child in your life who has a keen interest in getting started with a sewing machine? This is the class you’ve been searching for!
With a maximum class size of 6, students will have lots of individual attention as they learn the basics of using a sewing machine including threading the needle, winding a bobbin, changing presser feet, what each part does, how to troubleshoot, and of course, how to sew.
Kids will practice stitching straight lines and curves and even tackle a simple first project. After this class, they’ll be ready to take any of our future kids sewing classes and tackle projects at home with help on the cutting and planning.
Recommended for age 8 - 13
Price: Includes two hours of hands-on instruction, opportunity for lots of questions, all supplies, materials and use of tools. Basically, kids can just show up ready to learn and we take care of the rest.
