When: Sunday, January 6, 1 - 3 PM
Do you love large scale knitted blankets and cowls? Wondering if you could make one for yourself in exactly your colors? Or maybe make several for gifts?
In this workshop you’ll learn everything you need to know and complete a cowl. You’ll learn how how to cast on, knit, and bind off. And we’ll talk about yarn selection for future projects. You’ll do it all with only your arms (your hands help a bit) and giant yarn. We’ll send you home with a fabulous new cowl and instructions for your next project.
Once you master one project, you’ll have the flexibility to choose exactly the yarn you want and the project you want. Maybe you want a more affordable acrylic yarn for some projects (or your skin just can't stand wool), or you prefer opulent wool for certain projects, or even a stretchy t-shirt yarn. You can adjust your size and color, too.
We have natural, dark beige, dark gray, and light gray yarns for you to select from during class.
Materials: Yarn for one cowl project, instruction, and directions to take home are included in the price. Students receive a 10% discount on purchase of any additional yarn in stock on class date.
