When: July 12, 6 - 8 pm
Learn the basics of using a sewing machine including threading the needle, winding a bobbin, what each part does, how to troubleshoot. Practice stitching straight lines and curves.
What You Will Learn: We'll cover how to use a sewing machine - install needle, thread needle, install feet, what the different feet are for, wind a bobbin, insert the bobbin, use presser foot, adjust tension, what is tension, choosing stitches (how and why). You'll do lots of practice stitching to get comfortable. Bring your questions and learn all the answers.
Materials: Use of machines and all supplies and materials for stitching are provided.
This class or equivalent is a prerequisite for many of our other sewing machine classes.
