Leather for Beginners

Sunday, July 1, 1 - 4 pm

If you've been wanting to try working with leather, but aren't sure where to start, this is your workshop.  We will work through two intro level projects that will let you learn several different leather working techniques, including saddle stitch (hand stitching), working with dye, setting a snap, and using a button stud closure.  You will be able to choose your projects, with options including a card wallet, bracelet, coin/tool pouch, and key fob.

We'll cover leather working terms and tools and help you figure out where to go from here if you want to pursue further projects.

Have fun experimenting with leather craft and learning that you can create a cool accessory with your own hands.  This is a great workshops for friends or couples to learn together.

Feel free to bring light snacks of choice, and let us provide the creative entertainment.  Bring your questions and creativity. We provide everything else (all materials, tools, and instruction).
