When: Saturday, October 6, 11 - 2 pm
Take the plunge into knitting (or relearning knitting) with this simple, relaxing workshop. Learn the knit stitch and knit your own washcloth or start a scarf. You'll have hands-on instruction, time to practice your skills in class, and ask tons of questions. Use our needles while you're here, purchase a pair here, or bring your own (size US 7 - 11 recommended, can be straight or circular).
What You Will Learn: How to cast on, bind-off, knit, increase and decrease. We’ll talk about yarn, needles, what all the labels mean, how to make sense of it all, and more. We try to tailor our time and focus to the things each student actually wants/needs to focus on during class.
Price/Materials: Price includes two hours of instruction and project guidance. Please plan to bring your own needles and yarn if you already have some, or you can purchase yarn and needles at the shop at a 10% discount on class day.
Support Sessions: Sign up for three hour group class, or sign up for the group class plus five 15-minute mini support sessions as you practice your stitches.
