When: Pillow - Saturday, June 23, 11 - 1:30 pm
Want to learn the basics of sewing, but don't have the time or attention span for a long weekend day devoted to sewing? We're here to help you achieve your sewing goals. If you've never used a machine before or used one years ago, but can't remember much, this is perfect for you.
In this session: Learn how to use all the tools, add design elements, and sew straight lines with the sewing machine to complete a new pillow for your home.
You'll leave with an awesome new pillow made by you, and the knowledge and confidence to tackle new sewing projects on your own.
What You Will Learn: How to use a sewing machine, how to construct a project, basic sewing terminology and practices, what tools to use and how, and all the little things related to these.
Materials: Machines, tools, and basic notions are supplied. If you bring your own machine, please be sure it works, and bring the manual and all parts (especially the power cord and foot pedal).
