Date Night Maker Series: Blockprinting

Tonight we will experiment with block printing. It's a fun introduction to relief printing, and one of the simplest forms of print-making.   You'll design and carve a simple design into a rubber carving block and print it multiple times on paper. It's a great method to design your own paper products, notebooks, t-shirts, tote bags, and more. The point of this activity is not to create artistic masterpieces.  It’s to have fun experimenting with different ways of making art and learning to relax and have fun working with materials that are new to you. The creations will be entirely yours. We don’t pre-draw anything for you and you can design anything you feel like. We have several color and paper choices, too.
